About Mrs. Kate

"Mrs. Kate" Carpenter of Marion, IN travels worldwide making families smile with her homespun folk music.  Accompanying herself on the guitar, this prolific songwriter has recorded 13 original CD's and several children's music videos in the past 30 years. She performs over 200 shows a year, delighting audiences of all ages.  Mrs. Kate’s specialty is electrifying preschool and elementary school children.  Using catchy tunes, puppetry, unusual instruments, and riveting storytelling, her interaction with the audience is creative and unforgettable.  She has motivated and entertained young audiences in over 650 schools and libraries.​  Mrs. Kate also loves singing for senior citizens, delighting audiences with her original programs in over 249 communities throughout the United States.
